Google is always focused on constant innovation and with this model, it costs nothing more than 20% of employee time to fuel these innovations.
Successful projects that emerged out of this rule are Google AdSense which contributed to over 70% of Google’s revenue in 2019 and Gmail which now has over 1.5 billion active users.

Yes, absolutely. The advantage of being a large corporate is the nearly unlimited funds they have, or can secure for any project. However, such organizations are also riddled with bureaucracy and do not have the agility to compete with upstarts that do not have the funds, but can pivot and operate with complete agility.
