Apple broke another record in the quarter gone by selling a record number of iPhones.
anyone know how many were sold in the US?
I believe Apple does not provide a country-wise split up and most numbers provided for iPhone sales within a country are based on third party estimates. Correct me, if wrong..
Only 717,000 sold in Q3 2008 ?
Yes, that’s what Apple’s quarterly reports say..
We don’t know country breakouts but we know that Apple shipped 8.7 million phones in their Q1 2010 (ended 12/26/09) and during AT&T’s Q4 2009 (ended 12/31/09) they activated 3.1 millon, or about 36% of those sold. In total, ATT has 85 million subs. Does anyone know how many iPhones ATT currently has activated? Apple’s numbers raise a number of questions.
